UDL Connect

Online Community of Practice for UDL Implementors

In October, Amanda Hughes came to watch my lesson to give me feed back on how to utilize UDL into review sessions. I was using the Active Inspire flipcharts and voters to help the 6th grade students review for a test. Not all the students were thrilled to use the voters so I allowed some students to use white boards instead, and some used pencil and paper. Amanda said she liked how flexible I was and how easy it was for me to allow for student choice. Sometimes I think I am using UDL strategies and don't even know it. I hope through out this study I can use more strategies consciously in my daily instruction.
