3D Propeller

I forgot something important! I bet that will happen from time to time in my "September is approaching" blog series!

The Propeller is really 3D. There is all the parts of the propeller for students but looking on the back side of the Propeller is for Teacher Professional Development.

It was your comments Don that helped me remember one of the parts that has accelerated our practice like nothing else in 25 years and it is the NETWORK of Professionals in BC where we INQUIRE every year as a team of professionals!

The Network used to be called "Network of Performance Based Schools" and thankfully they have changed the name to "NOII" Networks of Inquiry and Innovation!

Dr. Judy Halbert and Dr. Linda Kaser are the leaders of this dynamic network that engages teachers and administrators from across BC. It has been a dynamic and engaging process and spurred much excellent professional learning. If a school takes on an Inquiry, they receive $1000 of funding! Not a lot for what it has done to create wide systemic change!
