Diana F. Green said… Guess I should add that I do professional development in the arts for teaching artists and classroom teachers. I took a UDL course from VSA and am beginning to use it in my work. Love it!!! Finding Artists need it as much as non-artists becasue teaching to multiple intelligences is not automatic in any field. I am an Arts n Education program manager in Alabama.

Terilyn Colacino said… Was wondering if anyone from CAST would be willing to Skype with our thematic dissertation group from USC's Rossier School of Ed? We are all doing research on UDL/Creativity/Innovation. Our class meets on Thursdays from 5pm to 9pm Pacific Standard Time. We meet again on March 8th.
Terilyn Colacino said… Excellent, thank you!
Terilyn Colacino said… I am part of a thematic dissertation group at USC's Rossier School of Education EdD program. Our groups theme is Universal Design, Creativity, and Innovation. We can take the theme in any direction and I am interested in researching how many teacher education programs teach the UDL Framework to their teacher ed candidates, do they teach the framework to both education specialist candidates, or also regular ed candidates. Then I would like to follow up with interview and surveys from those schools of ed that are teaching UDL Framework to candidates. Any feedback is much appreciated... previous studies similar to this, etc. Also, would anyone from CAST be willing to Skype with our thematic group on a Thursday evening around 5:00pm (pacific standard time) as to current research in UDL and future need for research? Many thanks!!
Andrea Thomas-Munson said… Thank you so much! I'm looking forward to getting to know much more about UDL and embedding it in instruction.
I haven't "dug around" this site too much yet, but one thing I'd like to find out more about is UDL courses, seminars, etc. Any information or links you and my colleagues can provide would be most appreciated!
Margaret A. Claymore said… I am currently piloting UDL with our Bureau of Indian Education schools on and near reservations across the eastern portion of the U.S. I have partnered with a former colleague to introduce and create beginning webinar sessions. If anyone has any suggestions on how to share and exchange ideas with future UDL teachers and their education technicians, please share what you may have done as you began the journey. Thanks:)
