Absolutely you can use the UDL Explained video! When you do, please ask the audience afterward if they notice any problems with it. When I made the video it was actually for a DVD project. The DVD version is captioned. The Web version is not (yet). When I use the video in presentations I like to point this out because I think it helps drive the point home as well as explains one of its own shortcomings.

Here's a link to the A.T.TIPSCAST as well. It's the podcast I do on free/mostly free tools that can be used to differentiate learning. You might enjoy that as well.
