Hello everyone, I'm Rose Merry Kirkpatrick. I am a special education consultant and currently coordinate the AR Co-Teaching Project, a grant project funded by the ADE Special Education Unit and the Dawson Education Cooperative. Bringing UDL principles into the general education classroom is critical to successfully serving students with disabilities in the general education classroom. I am excited about being part of this work group.

Hi everyone, I'm Bryan Ayres, the Director of the Technology & Curriculum Access Center at Easter Seals Arkansas.  We have a program that collaborates with the Testing and Accountability Section of the Arkansas Department of Education and the Special Education Unit in Arkansas.  I'm a music educator and special education teacher and administrator by licensure and have been involved in education for nearly 30 years.  Since 2005, we've founded our part of a larger non-profit based on the framework of UDL and the belief that everyone has unique recognition, expression and affective learning networks and that everyone can be best served in education using a UDL model.
