Comment by Mary Hawes Mahoney on January 13, 2012 at 7:13am Good Morning
I am a history teacher with wide-ranging interests. I want my students to be enthused by the world around them and what is happening in this country and other. Towards that end, (whenever I can) I travel to places steeped in history. Reading books (fiction and non-fiction) are another passion of mine, as are friendships, family and community.

Comment by Marcy Perry on January 12, 2012 at 10:22am Hi I'm Marcy Perry, a 6th grade special educator (inclusion). My favorite hobby is scuba diving which is coming in handy during different science discussions about pressure and inside the earth. My strengths are creative thinking and differentiated instruction for the student with special needs. What I hope to gain are insights and resources that will strengthen my skills in teaching the larger class during the co-teaching plans.

Comment by Peggy Coyne on November 28, 2011 at 1:17pm Hi,
My name is Peggy, I work at CAST as a Research Scientist and I help with Professional Development. I love to work with other people in the area of education. My special skills include an understanding of UDL and how to use the framework to minimize barriers in the curriculum. I love to "puzzle about" and think about how to increase opportunities for students.
