Comment by Allison Posey on August 16, 2012 at 1:51pm Good afternoon,
I just wanted to touch base with you all since our conference a couple of weeks ago. If you have had any 'UDL' moments as you've started preparing for the start of the school, please share! We would love to keep our discussions and reflections going.

The Randolph Team will be:
- Moving forward we will be working with the team members that attended the Harvard conference to develop a district-wide approach to implementation.
- Developing and implementing a district-wide common 21st century vocabulary that integrates UDL.
Comment by Ian Kelly on August 2, 2012 at 1:53pm Our team form Natick plans to bring UDL on-line by seating it within the context of ongoing RtI and Model Evaluation System work. We have developed a plan/timeline to have an ongoing conversation focused on developing common language and supports for teachers and completing a thorough self-assessment of UDL practices within the district.

Comment by Jennifer Beaudry on August 2, 2012 at 10:38am As I viewed the video, I could see how the techniques that were used could relate how we, as administrators present new concepts and information to staff. The idea of acting as the "guide" feels like a much better way to support staff but also be able to assess where they are at with their learning and comfort level with the concept.
Comment by Maureen Donelan on August 2, 2012 at 10:11am Paula, you read my mind. I was trying to plan where to start and how I will present this to my teachers in order to reduce the roadblocks from the beginning and get them excited about UDL.
