Mary- I believe he was talking about the background knowledge issue...I will clarify and post his response :-)

Question:  What was Dr. Rose's quick reference to "they" got it wrong with regards to the Common Core and background knowledge when he was talking about the vast range of difficulties for reading because of modern neuroscience's discovery that the entire brain is engaged with simulations while reading?
