We have had series of Pilot Projects in BC. You can see some of the work on our provincial website:

These projects got everyone talking about UDL. It might be a model that someone could use to implement UDL?

Permalink Reply by Billie-Jo Grant on December 13, 2011 at 10:13pm I would love to connect with another UDL Lead Teacher - this is a new position in our school/district that is very valuable. I want to see what others are doing out there and hopefully share some ideas and theory!
Permalink Reply by Billie-Jo Grant on December 28, 2011 at 1:51pm I would love to find out what other districts are doing with the UDL. As a lead teacher - it is is still very new and I want to make sure I am doing all that I can?
Permalink Reply by Stephen Petrucci on January 4, 2012 at 12:41pm We are planning to integrate the UDL framework into our planning and pro-d (when job action is over). I would also be interested in connecting with other districts on the approach they are taking. Here is a Livebinder I put together on UDL in order to introduce it to board members, other teachers, etc.
Kerry-
Thank you for sharing these materials! I am particularly interested in how you developed the "very informal" implementation rubric. I know other districts have developed similar tools to guide their process. I think that this would be of great interest to the field!
I also wonder if each lesson in the BC UDL Learning Object Repository (BCUDL LOR) could include a brief UDL Checklist to highlight the UDL aspects that were taken into consideration in the curriculum design. In other words, an annotated set of UDL Guidelines that explains how the lesson supports learning variability across the neural networks.
Cheers!
