Participants will learn ways to use music in the kindergarten classroom to further the pre-literacy and language learning skills of their students. The research behind the links to music and language will be presented. Participants will learn many user-friendly songs, rhythm movement activities and the adaptive strategies which include all learners and which will have immediate application in their classrooms. The workshop is created using the UDL framework as a way to show how arts integration can support inclusion.
